If you are impacted by the Loan Charge

Please do not contact individual officers about the APPG as they will not be able to respond to you unless you are a constituent.

Please note that (separate to the inquiry) the APPG cannot engage in direct correspondence with individuals or organisations. The Group cannot directly take up individual cases of those facing the Loan Charge. People impacted by the Loan Charge are encouraged to contact their MP to raise any issues or concerns.

You can find out how to contact your MP here – https://www.parliament.uk/mps-lords-and-offices/mps/

Support

Individuals are always encouraged to seek appropriate professional advice.

The Loan Charge Action Group, which represents those facing the Loan Charge, offer a volunteer-run peer-to-peer help service for those in urgent need.

This is a service for people who are facing acute anxiety. It is for support from peers who understand the Loan Charge and the distress it is causing individuals. It does not offer financial or professional advice.

To use this service, text ‘LCAG HELP’ to 81025. A volunteer from LCAG will reply promptly during the daytime; for people who text at night, a volunteer will call the following day. This a service offered by LCAG and the Loan Charge APPG takes no responsibility for it.

Contact Us
